Description
Join an exciting walking tour of Copenhagen led by a guide with a unique life story. Learn about the experiences of a former homeless person, drug addict, and gambler, and much more.
Join our walking tour and gain insight into a life of drug abuse, homelessness, crime, and much more. Learn about the life of your guide, Philip, who shares his story of a life marked by drug abuse, gambling addiction, homelessness, crime, and prostitution. Reflect on feeling different and wrong, and questioning his sexuality.
Meet your guide, Philip (picture 3), at Nørreport station in the heart of Copenhagen. He will be waiting for you just outside McDonald's. Embark on a very personal walk through downtown Copenhagen.
Listen as Philip shares his unique life story, openly discussing a life on the streets of Copenhagen that few are familiar with.
Hear how Philip lost the joy for life, harmed himself and others, misled workplaces and loved ones. Learn how guilt and shame became ingrained in his DNA.
Today, Philip finds himself in a positive stage of his life, having moved on from his past and now actively engaged in pursuing an education.
As you continue your walk, take time to reflect on the stories you have heard and feel free to ask questions. The tour will end next to the Metro at the Town Hall Square (Rådhuspladsen Metro).
