After meeting your driver at a time arranged by you, the tour will start surprisingly by going
away from Kotor and Perast. Why? Because sometimes you need a distance to see things better
and more clearly! The drive in the hinterland of Kotor will take you a bit uphill so that you realize
where you are and what kind of stunning beauty you will experience in the Bay, actually its part
under UNESCO protection – Kotor and Perast. Admire the shape of the Bay, make it eternal in
photos and go back to the coast again to reach your destination.

As soon as you reach Perast, the boat will wait for you to take a 5 min ride to one of the islands
facing the town. The natural island of Saint George that you will be able to see is natural and
equally intriguing, but unfortunately closed for visits. You will still be enchanted by its beauty
since it is just next to our stop – artificial island Our Lady of the Rocks. 
This island was built on the small sea reef on which a miraculous working painting of Our Lady
was found in 1452 in a quite mysterious way. The Church was built at the same place in order to
honor our Lady and house the painting, which is now a patroness of all sailors in the Adriatic.
But what an undertaking it was to build an island in the middle of the sea large enough to serve
as a base for the church and surrounding facilities! You just have to enter the church and its
museum to hear more curiosities. Be sure to ask about special embroidery in which the author
incorporated her own hair to make a haircut of Our Lady and surrounding angels!!!
Go back to Perast, this time to focus on the town itself and feel this 18 century place your home.
