Discover Scuba Diving is a half day program for beginners – a unique opportunity for you to live the scuba experience. Take your very first breath underwater in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea!
Dive into fun and learn the basics of diving with our team of PADI Professionals.
Join us for our three-part experience- briefing, skills and open water dive!
The briefing includes all the information you need to know for a great dive. Including how you will equalize your air spaces, the hand signals we use to communicate and a breakdown of the skills which you will be doing. You will also be shown how the equipment works and what it’s used for.
Jump in the pool and take your first breath underwater! Practice using the equipment you’re going to be diving with and conquer the basic skills. Dive down to the deep end of our training pool to practice equalizing your ears and swimming around in full diving gear.
Head to our training dive site the Roman Wall and experience the amazing underwater world. Just a short walk from our dive centre this shore dive is the perfect place for beginner divers. Discover ancient Roman Amphorae, lost anchors and possibly green sea turtles (April-October)!
Important note: Diving CANNOT be done on the same day as flying or going to altitude. There is a minimum requirement of 12-24hours between finishing the dive and flying. Underwater cameras and Gopros are not allowed for safety reasons.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Minimum age 10 years old.
If you are feeling congested (cold like symptoms such as runny or block nose) considering waiting until it has cleared before diving.
You cannot dive and fly on the same day, we recommend 24 hours between completing the Discover Scuba Diving activity and flying home or visiting Troodos Mountains.
This activity may need to be rescheduled due to weather (very windy) or sea conditions (large waves).
Each participant is required to fill in a medical questionnaire at the start of the activity, if you have any concerns please contact us directly.
Basic level of swimming is required (comfortable submerging face in water)
All areas that customers touch are frequently cleaned
If you are driving to Cydive head towards the Papantoniou Supermarket in the harbour, there is a small road next to the supermarket turn down there and Cydive is on the right hand side there is parking to the left.
If you are travelling by bus, head to the Paphos Harbour stop (615 from Coral Bay), cross the road towards the bakery and ECOSI ice cream shop and walk through the stone archway. Once you are on the other side we are located on the left.
For walkers, walk towards Paphos harbour by the sea there is a set of steps with a metal railing, once you reach this cross the road to the restaurant side and walk down the alleyway next to a restaurant called The Captains View. We are located at the end of the alley.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
