Embark on a captivating journey across the UN-patrolled border to northern Cyprus, where you will explore some of the region’s most renowned historical sites. Our first destination is the breathtaking Salamis Archaeological Site, nestled along the east coast of Cyprus, overlooking the mesmerizing Mediterranean Sea.

Behold the majesty of Salamis, which once served as the splendid capital of Cyprus for over a millennium. Immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of this remarkable site, considered a beacon of significance not only in Cyprus but throughout the entire Mediterranean region. Your knowledgeable guide will enlighten you with tales of the magnificent Greek Kingdom that flourished within these ancient walls.

Continuing our journey, we will arrive in Famagusta City, where you can visit the awe-inspiring Latin Cathedral of Saint Nicholas and the imposing Othello Tower. Indulge in some leisurely free time to savor a delightful lunch or explore the enchanting charms of the old town at your own pace.

Before bidding farewell to this historically rich region, we will briefly stop at Constantia Beach. From here, you will enjoy the view of the hauntingly beautiful ghost town of Famagusta, which was tragically abandoned during the turmoil of the Turkish invasion in 1974. Behind its barbed wire enclosures, this once-thriving holiday resort has remained frozen in time, encapsulating a poignant tale of the past.

Experience a day of discovery, as you traverse the borders and witness the profound historical treasures that northern Cyprus has to offer.
