Visit the birthplace of Marco Polo and other famous monuments on this tour of Korčula. The island of Korčula presents visitors with beautiful nature, and with rich cultural traditions and history. Visit the towns of Ston and Potomje as well.
Your sightseeing starts as soon as you depart from Dubrovnik when your tour takes a short break on the Dubrovnik Bridge for a scenic view of the town. You will then continue along the Adriatic Coast, learning about various points of interest along the route.
When you reach Ston you will enjoy sightseeing and free time. Ston is famous for its old salt flats and for having the second longest city walls in the world (after the Chinese walls). After sightseeing free time, the tour continues towards Orebić.
Along the way, you will take in the panoramic scenery of the famous vineyards of Peljesac peninsula. Discover beautiful countryside and old settlements while listening to commentary on the wineries of Peljesac and on the area's mussel-breeding. In Orebić the tour boards the boat to Korčula.
The island of Korčula presents a unique contact with the beautiful nature, and a thousand-year-old cultural tradition and history. You will have an opportunity to visit the birth house of Marco Polo, the church of St. Marco and many other monuments. Return to Orebić by boat and proceed to Potomje.
Upon arrival in Potomje you will visit one of the most famous Croatian wineries. Your tasting will include famous wines as well as domestic brandy and liquors in the company of an expert from the winery. The tour returns to Dubrovnik in the afternoon.
