Our grandmothers are preparing a delicious typical Costa Rican breakfast at our farm for you. Want to make an omelet? Come and live an authentic experience with natural flavors.
From very early in the morning, our grandmothers get ready to pick a few vegetables from our garden, to create a cooking experience in which you can participate and help prepare a delicious typical breakfast.
We will pick you up at your hotel, then travel for 30 minutes very close to San Jose to a beautiful village called Atenas, where we will take a short hike to our grandparents' property.
With beautiful views of the central valley, our very humble typical house, with dirt floor, wood stove and wooden walls, here you can grind the corn to create the tortilla you will eat and also know the trapiche where our grandparents milled the sugar cane to have the delicious sugar cane juice or sweet tapas.
At the end of this experience we will say goodbye to our beautiful farm and return to San Jose and drop you off at your hotel.

The hike is optional, you can request to be taken to the typical house by car, at no additional cost.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
