Even the pre-Colombian indigenous tribes used cacao seeds as currency to make trade with other tribes, and chocolate was considered to be divine. Most Colombians still prefer a hot chocolate in the morning instead of coffee.

Visit a community run cacao project, sponsored by the United Nations to support the local farmers to leave illegal coca crops.
