At the beginning of the cocoa tour, the client will be welcomed at the plantation by a tour guide who is an expert in the history and cultivation of cocoa. The tour will begin with the tour guide explaining the life cycle of cocoa, from seed to mature tree.
You will see how the pods are opened and the cocoa beans are extracted. The tour guide will demonstrate the fermentation and drying process, fundamental to developing the cocoa flavors. Next, visitors will participate in a hands-on experience, helping to roast the beans and grind them to create a cocoa paste.
The next step of the tour focuses on the transformation of cocoa into chocolate. Visitors will observe how cocoa paste is mixed with other ingredients to form liquid chocolate. They will have the opportunity to see the chocolate tempering and molding process, and will even be able to create their own personalized chocolate bars.

During the tour, the tour guide will share stories about the history of cocoa, its cultural importance and its impact on local communities.
