At Eco-hotel El Acuario, you will find more than 60 species of fruit trees, where in a typical Antioquian way you will taste many of their fruits, while you learn about our culture and much more!
Embark on a captivating journey through the rich variety of flavors, nature and traditions of Antioquia, with our exclusive Fruits, Culture and Tradition Tour in the warm climate of Eco-Hotel el Acuario in the municipality of San Jerónimo, just 40 minutes from the center of Medellin. Live the experience of knowing more than 60 fruit trees, tasting many of their fruits and learning about the Paisa culture.

You will have the opportunity to wear a typical outfit (Poncho, hat and Antioquian leather bag) and we will explain to you why the Paisa muleteers used that outfit.

You will learn about the different varieties of fruits, you will know the trees where those fruits grow and you will taste many of them.

You will learn how to make the typical Paisa arepa and we will give you a tasting with chocolate and hogao (arepa + fried tomato and onion + hot chocolate and panela drink)

You will visit an Antioquia inn with traditional music and taste the typical liquor of the region.

You will feed chickens and fish of different species.

You will enjoy a salpicón (typical mixed fruit drink from the region).

You will enjoy lunch (typical "Sancocho Paisa") in the company of the view of nature, lakes, and many animals.

The tour ends with a souvenir

If you decide to stay after the tour, you can enjoy the pools or spend the night at the Eco-hotel (Use of the pools and accommodation in the rooms has an additional cost).

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
