Over an hour and fifteen minutes, you'll have the chance to taste a variety of 10 artisanal hot sauces, crafted with a careful selection of hot chili peppers, fruits, and traditional Cartagena recipes.
Inspired by the authenticity of a Cartagena street corner and the warmth of a fried food table, a very local tradition, our aim is to offer you an experience that stimulates all your senses. To complement the intensity of the hot sauces, we'll provide agua de panela and Costeñita, which is a local beer, two typical beverages that are part of Cartagena's gastronomic heritage.
Each hot sauce, based on unique Cartagena recipes, is designed to evoke commonplaces of local cuisine. They are paired with local fried foods, ensuring a perfect combination of flavors and textures. At the beginning of the bustling Arsenal Street, right around the corner and across from the convention center, there's a two-story pink building with wooden barrels outside promoting free hugs. When you arrive, the host will take you to the exact spot where the experience will take place.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
