In Colombia there are two mud volcanoes, one located in Arboletes, Antioquia and another located in the rural area of the Municipality of Santa Catalina, next to the Totumo swamp, the latter is our attraction to visit in this activity.

In summer, the volume of mud in the volcanic cone decreases; in winter, due to the swamp next to the volcano, it is full to the point of overflowing.
Its access road connects the city of Cartagena with Barranquilla. Therefore, the departments of Bolivar and Atlantico live with the dilemma of who owns it, a dispute that has only harmed the place because by not knowing who is responsible for the attraction, neither of the two jurisdictions has taken the initiative to invest for its improvement. of the same.
