We start our food tour with a stroll through the quiet Hutong allays, listen, as your guide offers an intriguing insight into the Hutong’s rich history, and learn about the culinary traditions and history and the eating etiquette.
Stop at several popular restaurants to sample the best local foods, such as
1: Sesame cakes - a cake made of sesame seeds, often combined with honey as a sweetener.
2: Ma hua- Fried Dough Twist
3: Soup dumplings
4: Beijing Jar yogurt
5: "Cross Bridge" Rice Noodles - originating from the Yunnan province
6: Jianbin - fried pancake
7: A crispy fried ring-a popular household snack
