Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is located in Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie City. It is the core scenic spot of Zhangjiajie, with a total area of 48.1 square kilometers. The park is famous for its unique peaks, beautiful waters, secluded valleys and beautiful forests, and is known as "Three Thousand Unique Peaks and Eight Hundred Beautiful Waters". The main attractions include Huangshizhai, Jinbianxi, Yuanjiajie, etc. It was listed in the "World Natural Heritage List" in 1992 and was rated as a national 5A tourist attraction in 2007.
