Day 1
At 8:00 am, you will meet your English-speaking guide and driver in the lobby of the Beijing Hotel. Then proceed to the Forbidden City, which was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is an unrivaled masterpiece of ancient architecture and the largest and most complete complex of ancient wooden structures in the world. On the way to the Temple of Heaven, you will also visit a silk factory and learn about the traditional silk culture there. Then you will have lunch at a local restaurant for about 45 minutes.
You will then proceed to the impressive Temple of Heaven, the largest surviving ancient ceremonial complex in China. Afterwards, enjoy an interesting taste of Chinese tea culture at a teahouse before returning to your hotel.

Day 2
On the second day, you will visit the Great Wall of China, which is a World Heritage Site integrating military, political, cultural and tourism functions. It is not only a wall, but also a vivid portrayal of the long history of the Chinese nation and a carrier of cultural inheritance. Afterwards, visit the breathtaking Chinese Jade Gallery to experience the ancient jade culture.
In the afternoon, after lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Summer Palace, which is an outstanding display of ancient Chinese garden art, harmoniously blending man-made landscapes with nature, before returning to the hotel.
Day 3
Your Beijing driver will transfer you to the Capital Airport and then take an early flight to Shanghai, where our Shanghai English speaking tour guide and driver will pick you up at the Domestic Arrivals Gate of the Shanghai Airport at 9:30 am with your name sign, and then proceed to the Shanghai Museum, a huge gallery of ancient Chinese art, splendidly displaying the wisdom and philosophy of the ancients.
Then visit the Yuyuan Garden, which was built in the Ming Dynasty in the 14th century. The unforgettable views and the artistic style of garden architecture have made the Yuyuan Garden one of the most impressive attractions in Shanghai, followed by a tour of Nanjing Road, the Pearl Exhibition Hall and the Bund, before returning to the airport for your return to Beijing, and Beijing driver will transfer you back to hotel again.
