Description

Join us on a special, local tour where you will see some of the off the beat areas of our city. From street art, to local antique galleries and local breweries on a full day tour.
Join us to visit some of the most attractive neighborhoods in the southern sector of Santiago on a tour that will allow you to experience firsthand the neighborhood life of our city.

We will start by visiting "MUSEO MACUL" (MuMa), a beautiful community-driven project in the Vicuña Mackenna Sur neighborhood. It has successfully created an open-air urban art museum with over 30 murals by renowned artists from our country and around the world. During this visit, we will be greeted by local residents who will guide us through the museum.

Next, we will use Santiago's public transportation, the Santiago Metro (one of the most modern in Latin America), to reach the Barrio Franklin area, another of the most attractive sectors in southern Santiago. Here, we will visit a renowned space known for its arts and crafts called "Factoría Franklin," where various local and responsibly-produced enterprises gather to showcase their products. We will also explore the art galleries "Factoría Santa Rosa" and "Galería 3.14," which focus on promoting emerging national artists.

Afterwards, we will visit the classic antique warehouses of the neighborhood, including notable spots like Persa Victor Manuel and Galería La Curtiembre.

Continuing on in our private transport, we will head to the Barrio Matta Sur area, where we will be welcomed at the charming funky restaurant "Hasta que te Encontré." This beautiful space is themed around the pop culture of the 60s, 70s, and 80s of our country, where we will enjoy a hearty, abundant homemade lunch featuring famous beef "milanesas," French fries, and vegetarian or fish preparations.

To conclude, we will visit some of the most notable spaces in Barrio Matta Sur, such as the Asilo Hermanitas de los Pobres, a 1890's historical nursing home now turned into a new space for the community, and the historic "citès" of the neighborhood.

We will end our tour by exploring some of the most distinguished breweries in the area: Alameda Beer Company and SPOH. Here, we will taste different craft beer styles, concluding a great experience discovering the best of this sector of Santiago.
