Explore the back way in through the hamlet of Exshaw, steep in the history of mining, the 2013 floods when entire houses flowed down the tsunami wave that devastated the town and left people stranded for 11 days!
A quick little hike into Jura Creek to cool off from the heat of the day is a fun way to start the day. This is a great option, but we are open to ideas! There are lots of great little hikes all along the way.
There are bound to be Mountain sheep and other wildlife as we travel along the Bow River, past Canmore and into the town of Canmore Hamlet with flood history and Big horned sheep.

Banff is Canada's first National park, symbolized by the Iconic Branff Spring Hotel, erected in 1888. and is the oldest building in Alberta! (That is old for us) After exploring the hotel we can marvel at the waterfall below.
The viewpoints from Tunnel Mountain are grand and second to none! You will feel a renewed sense of wonder, guaranteed.
We will go to the much lesser know spots however equally majestic. Blue glacial lakes and views and the powerful pull to mountains we have known for centuries.

Lake Louise is the final destination. We can explore the hotel, walk along the shore, and Take the scenic hike to the viewpoint ( relatively short). Legend has it that people have travelled here for centuries to take in the incredible uplifting energy of the lake and surrounding mountains. It's an incredible time to be alive and you will feel your spirits being uplifted.
