This ride is packed with Rocky Mountain scenery in the beautiful Spray Valley area, with views of the Spray River, Rundle Mountain, the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course, and the beautiful Bow Falls. This tour is for experienced riders only.
See Banff National Park from a different perspective; 6 or 7-feet up from the back of a friendly horse. Meet your guide, get outfitted with your horse, and receive a safety briefing. Then head out through the park on horseback on a 4-hour guided tour, complete with ead and tail guides for your ride.
The 4-hour Sulphur Mountain Ride is packed with Rocky Mountain scenery. See the renowned Rimrock Resort Hotel, trek down to the valley and lead your horse across the lively Spray River. You’ll ride along the base of Mount Rundle and stop for a short break and small snack before continuing on to enjoy stunning views across the valley and of the Rimrock Hotel - before passing by the immaculate fairways of the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course. You’ll continue on to the roaring Bow Falls to cross the river a second time before heading back. This tour is for riders with previous riding experience only.

• No shows, missed departures or unused services will be non-refundable.
• Minimum age is 8 years or over; if age requirement is not met, the booking will be forfeited without a refund
• Maximum weight of of 230 lbs; if guest exceeds the maximum weight, the booking will be forfeited without a refund
• Children aged 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• An understanding of basic English is required
• Adult riders must sign a waiver; the parent or legal guardian of any rider under 18 must complete a waiver (documentation may be required to confirm the signatory's authority)
• Riders must be physically capable of controlling the horse
• Riders must wear sturdy closed-toed shoes, no open-toe shoes or shoes with big heels
• Long pants are recommended for your comfort
• Guests are not permitted to bring a backpack on the ride
• Guests may be required to confirm their current weight on a scale and provide proof of the child's age
The meeting point for the Spray River Ride is at the Banff Springs Corrals in Banff, located near the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel on Spray Ave in Banff behind the tennis courts.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
