The easy approach, ideal location to learn rappelling, and the amazing scenery all make this trip the perfect choice for your first canyoning experience. Heart Creek Canyon is also our closest trip to the townsites of Banff & Canmore. Upper Heart Canyon provides a perfect location to learn and develop your rope rappelling skills. Introductory short rappels allow you to ease into rappelling and increase in length as you progress down the canyon, finally culminating with an exciting 60ft+ wet waterfall rappel and slide (optional: it is possible to hike around the lower falls).

This tour will take place rain or shine
Participants should be comfortable hiking between 30 and 60 minutes to top of canyon with some uphills

Look for the Bow Valley Canyon Tour meeting sign. Heart Creek Canyon is located 17km east of the town site of Canmore and approximately 10 min drive from Canmore and 25 minutes from Banff. Look for the Heart Creek Trail exit
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
