Description

You will enjoy an unforgettable experience and adventure across countryside at the northern part of Cambodia. Enjoy best view on top of Dangrek mountain especially exploring Preah Vihear temple.
You will explore the most spectacular temple in Preah Vihear province and Siem Reap province combined. The tour will covered Preah Vihear temple, Koh Ker group temple and Beng Mealea temple or the great Jungle temple in Siem Reap province.

You will be pick up from your hotel or Resort in Siem Reap and we will travel to Preah Vihear temple which located around 220km from Siem Reap city. During our journey you will view the most beautiful scenery of the local villages, plantation, and many other local activities for their daily life. After we arrive at the temple pass we will buy the tickets there and start exploring the temple of Preah Vihear ( well known as paradise temple ) because it was built on top of Dangrek Mountain in the height of 550m. We will travel to visit temple with pick up truck because the road very steep. When we arrive by pick up truck we will talk about 500 meters to explore the temple.

Preah Vihear temple is super huge and spectacular because it has a stunning style. You will not see this kind of temple style in Siem Reap Angkor temple. The temple itself toke 300 years to built the first king who start the temple structure is King Suryavarman I and completed by the King Suryavarman II ( we have no information in between these two king only the King who start and the King who finished ). It was completed in 11th and 12th centuries. Preah Vihear Situated on the edge of a plateau that dominates the plain of Cambodia and became the world heritage site on 07th July 2008.

After we finished Preah Vihear we will travel to Koh Ker group temple. We will visit two stunning temple one is Prasad Thom ( well known as Cambodian pyramid temple ) and we will visit Prasad Pram. Koh Ker temple was listed to the world heritage site on 17th September 2023.

Koh Ker ( Prasad thom or pyramid temple ) was founded by King Jayavarman IV from 921-944. Koh Ker was the Khmer capital city and leading only by two king ( King Jayavarman IV and his son Harshavarman II ). The temple made of Bricks, sandstone and laterite. Koh Ker is surrounded by the jungle so when you visit this temple you will view an amazing view on top of this temple.

Prasad Pram is a must see temple as it was built with bricks and the door frame made of sandstone. It is another beautiful temple of Koh Ker temple as it has the trees roots growing the temple tower it made the temple more unique and beautiful view.
After we finished Koh Ker group temple we will proceed to Beng Mealea temple.

Beng Mealea ( The great Jungle Temple ) was built in 12th century by king Suyavarman II the same king who built Angkor Wat temple. Beng Mealea is the fascinating temple because the whole part of the temple was covered by jungle and trees roots so it made the whole scenery look beautiful and fascinating. Most of my tourists enjoyed Beng Mealea the most for Siem Reap Angkor temple.

After we finished Beng Mealea we will travel back to Siem Reap city and finished our journey.
