The village people's way of life is centred around their homes and school which are positioned to sustain living in the area. The homes are built upon stilts and appear to float when the water rises. Boats are the preferred method of transport. You can spend some time on foot, and take a boat through the village, and one on to Tonle Sap lake, which is the largest in Asia.
In wet season starting from May each year, there is also the option to take a canoe into the floating forest, which is a highlight of the journey for many people.
