After the pickup enjoy a quiet 40-minute drive through the countryside, passing rice fields before arrive to the local market, enjoy a a quick info about the surrounding where inhabitants have bravely adapted to some of the most inconceivable conditions.

Your guide will provide an explanation of the impact of the Tonle Sap's seasonal fluctuations on the local communities. Next, Explore the floating village of Kompong Phluk on Tonle Sap Lake by boarding a motorised boat through the lake. Experience and indulge the distinctive daily routine of life on the water, where schools, residences, and markets float and adjust to the constantly fluctuating water levels.

Optionally, from October to January, embark on a rowing canoe excursion through the mangrove forest. The canoe makes a halt at a diminutive floating café, which is an ideal location to observe the sun's descent as warm hues overtaken the skies, if weather permitted. Afterward, if it's a dry season we will visit a Kampong and experience their life a bit, hear the stories from the guide before return back to the town.

During the dry season, the water levels in the floating town are lower, exposing more of the stilted dwellings and showcasing the real wonder of their creation.

● May – October
During the rainy season, the water levels rise. Boating through the village during this period is an altogether unearthly experience, as it will appear as though you are traversing a watery wonderland. The lush vegetation and rain-soaked environs provide magnificent photo opportunities, and the sunsets can be even more spectacular.
