Discover the ancient temples of the Angkor Empire on a full-day tour by tuk-tuk with a knowledgeable and experienced driver. Watch the sunset over Phnom Bakheng, explore the ruins of Preah Khan (Hindu-Buddhist Fusion), visit Preah Neak Poan (a beautiful water temple), adventure through Banteay Kdei (a massive 12th century Buddhist monastery) and see the less visited temples Phnom Palilay and Ta Nei, where nature has run wild and taken back what's theirs. Besides adventuring through these majestic structures you will also get a chance to immerse yourself in Cambodian culture by visiting the charming village of Preah Dak. You will have to chance to eat the local cuisine and also get a closer look at the everyday life in Cambodia.

Start your day with a pick-up from your hotel at 9:30 AM. Head towards Preah Khan to start exploring one of the largest temple complexes at Angkor. Imagine yourself as Lara Croft or Indiana Jones as you pass through the many corridors, view the intricate carvings and absorb the ancient history of this temple built by the legendary King, Jayavarman VII.

Now we are off to water. Take a walk on a bridge through a large ancient reservoir, Jayatataka Baray, towards a small but beautifully designed temple, Preah Neak Poan. Look for dragonflies and other bizarre insects as you trot above the water. Take your time as you witness ancient history blended perfectly with the calm beauty of nature.

Now we head towards the village of Preah Dak for Lunch where you will try one of the countries most famous dishes, Nom Banh Chok (Khmer Noodles). This village is not only known for its super tasty noodles but also for its hard crafted souvenirs and tasty treats all made from the palm tree. They also hand make some of the best noodles in south east asia. After eating some traditional food and visiting the charming village of Preah Dak, we continue our journey into the world of Angkor.

Full on food but hungry for more temples? You are in luck as we continue our adventure towards Banteay Kdei, the massive religious monument built by the countries favorite King, Jayavarman VII. Located directly across from the tiny island, Sra Srang. Take your time meandering through the long temple and keep your eye out for the beautifully constructed Garuda's located at the gate entrances. After you are finished taking in the sights from this 12th century work of art, stroll over to the lake and enjoy some more peaceful moments by water.

We are now off to two more small but incredibly charming temples that many tourists miss, Preah Palilay and Ta Nei. Beautifully intertwined with nature and shooting you back in time when they were first constructed.

Now time for the grand finale. The most beautiful sunset in Angkor, arguably all of Siem Reap. Phnom Bakheng. Watch the beautiful sunset over the temples, something you will never forget. Prepare yourself to arrive early and for large crowds, but all worth it.

Finish your tour and return to your hotel.
