Embark on a day trip from São Paulo to the town of Eldorado, in the region with the largest remnant of Atlantic Forest on the planet, rich in caves and waterfalls. Explore the Caverna do Diabo (Devil's Cave) and enjoy a birdwatching experience at Duco Lodge.
Leave São Paulo at 6:00 AM and arrive in Eldorado at around 10:00 AM. Head to the Duco Lodge, a birdwatching site with bird feeders and hummingbird feeders. Stay at the lodge for 2 hours and have lunch at 12:00 PM.
After lunch, head to Caverna do Diabo (Devil's Cave), located in the Caverna do Diabo State Park, the second largest Atlantic Forest reserve in the state of São Paulo. Explore the cave, which is 6 km long. Finish your activities at 5:00 PM and head back to São Paulo, arriving at 9:00 PM.
