In this tour through the rainforest of the Tijuca National Park, we will take you from your accommodation straight to the middle of the urban jungle. The goal is to visit several areas of the park.
First, we will take on an easy hike to one of the most famous and beautiful mountains of Rio de Janeiro, the Pedra Bonita, here you will understand the term urban jungle as you see the landscape of south and west zones of Rio de Janeiro City, reaching.
Next, you will delve inside the Tijuca Woods area, which is the oldest jungle area. In this location you will visit the biggest waterfall in the park: Cascatinha Taunay. Learn about this protected area inside the Center of Visitors. Then, take a walk through the woods and rivers to explore the biodiversity of the place and enjoy it.
From the main area of the park, you will head to the Serra da Carioca to visit your last tourist attraction (Vista Chinesa during weekdays, or Parque Lage weekends).
