The adventure begins with an exciting journey down the rugged roads near Serra da Bocaina National Park in a fully-loaded jeep. Marvel at its array of glistening waterfalls, including Tobogã Falls and Tarzã Falls, and learn the history of Brazil's Gold Trail in Paraty.
Your next stop will be at Engenho D'ouro, a cachaça distillery, where you'll witness the process behind one of South America's most popular liquors. Of course, you shan't be leaving without a taste of the drink's many varieties!
Lunch will be offered (price not included with tour) at the nearby Villa Verde, a local restaurant serving pastas and broiled dishes in a resplendent setting by yet another waterfall. Should you choose to do so, you may take advantage of the opportunity to swim in its pristine waters.
After lunch, take a jaunt through nature. See Brazilian Bamboo, Bromeliads, and Jequitibá, one of the region's largest trees, before catching a glimpse of local farm-life at Murycana Farm, host of the tour's second cachaça distillery.
The tour ends at the Bromeliad Exhibition, a botanist's dream, home to over 300 different species of plant for you to discover. Take a jeep back to your hotel in Paraty at the end of a thrilling day!
