Set off from the Pista Claudio Coutinho to reach a beautiful lookout with spectacular views of the entrance to Guanabára Bay and the city of Niterói in just 20 minutes. Then, brave the more technical trail and hike across stone ramps to discover some beautiful belvederes. Get the perfect introduction to basic rock climbing as you face the challenge of a 20-meter high vertical wall.
Reach the viewpoint of the Pedra Filosofal to soak up the magnificent vistas of Copacabana Beach, Pedra da Gávea, and Morro Dois Irmãos. Continue to the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain before the descent on the cable car back down Urca Hill.

The boarding route is set every day to try to facilitate all customers. Pick-up is available from most hotels in the South Zone and Downtown Rio. If the local partner does not collect from your accomodation, you be redirected to the nearest available pick-up location. Hotels in Barra da Tijuca, Recreio, São Conrado and Santa Tereza are not eligible.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
