Start with a visit to the Train Cemetery, which dates back to the 19th century. Here, contemplate the remains of ancient locomotives located a few kilometers from the city of Uyuni. Continue to Colchani, a small town known for the production of salt-based products. Buy various handicrafts.
Later, visit the Salar de Uyuni, which covers more than 10,000 km². Observe small piles of salt in the shape of a pyramid. Reach the entrance to Incahuasi Island. Enjoy the impressive natural views and observe the abundance of cacti.
Head to the Dakar Monument, where you can take beautiful photographs. Enjoy a delicious local lunch. Continue to the majestic Salar de Uyuni. In the afternoon, head to the water mirrors to appreciate the sunset reflecting the beautiful sky.
Start the journey at around 9:30 AM to begin the adventure in the majestic Salar de Uyuni. Visit at least three lagoons: Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chulluncani, of different colors, which are part of the Altiplano Lagoons, home to hundreds of flamingos.
