The day tour of the Salar de Uyuni begins with pick up from your hotel in Uyuni. The first stop is the Train Cemetery, where you can see old locomotives. Then, you continue to the community of Colchani, which serves as the gateway to the salt flat, where you can find artisan workshops and a salt microprocessor.
As the expedition progresses, the vast expanses of the Salar de Uyuni are explored, making stops to observe salt extraction, salt eyes and the Playa Blanca salt hotel, which currently operates as a museum.
The next visit is to the famous Incahuasi Island, located in the heart of the salt flat, where you take a walk to enjoy the large cacti, marine rock fossils and spectacular 360-degree views. At the end of the tour, we return to the town of Uyuni.
