After pickup, visit the Train Cemetery, where you can see old train carriages from Bolivia’s abandoned railroad. Then, visit the town of Colchani, where you can shop for local handmade crafts, and learn about the extraction and refining of salt.
Enter the Salar de Uyuni salt flats to witness this unique landscape. Head to Flags Square, where you will find many flags from countries all over the world. Here you’ll see the Dakar Monument, as well as the first hotel made entirely out of salt, where you will enjoy lunch.
Next, spend some time taking perspective-defying photos. Continue on to Incahuasi Island, an island of giant cacti with thousands of years of life. Hike 20 minutes to the top, where there is a spectacular panoramic view of the salt flats.
At the end of the day, you will be taken to a great location to witness a unique sunset. You will be dropped back to Uyuni town around 7:00 PM.
