Day 1: San Pedro de Atacama to Quetena Chico
Meet in San Pedro de Atacama and travel to the border of Chile and Bolivia. After breakfast, transfer to a 4x4 vehicle and head to the Laguna Blanca and Laguna Verde, both famous for their colors and fauna.
Next, visit the Salvador Dali Desert for some spectacular photo opportunities. Relax in the Polques hot springs and observe the flamingos. Enjoy a typical lunch before visiting the Sol de Mañana Geysers, located at an altitude of almost 5,000 meters.
Continue to the Laguna Colorada, home to flamingos and migratory birds, within the Eduardo Abaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve. Finish the day with dinner and rest in Quetena Chico.
Day 2: Quetena Chico to Uyuni
After breakfast, head to the Valley of Rocks, famous for formations such as the Camel Rock and the Stone Tree. Explore the Laguna Catal and its gorge, where you can enjoy native flora and fauna. After lunch, head to the salt hotel for dinner and rest.
Day 3: Uyuni to San Pedro de Atacama
Depart early for the Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt desert in the world, with more than 10,000 km². Watch the sunrise on the Isla Incahuasi, with its ancient cacti. Have breakfast on the salt flats and take perspective photos.
Visit the salt hotel and the Plaza de las Banderas. See the volcanic bubbles in the salt flats. In Colchani, buy souvenirs and visit the Uyuni Train Cemetery. Have lunch and return to Uyuni to continue your travels.
