San Pedro de Atacama 3-day excursion to the Uyuni Salt Flat

Visit the fascinating Salar de Uyuni, Incahuasi Island and the Red Lagoon, and find geysers and hot springs.
Day 1: San Pedro - Hito Cajón - Huayllajara

The tour starts between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. (Chilean Time) with pick-up from your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama.

After completing the migration process at the Chile-Bolivia border, depart from Hito Cajón, the Bolivian border point, at 9:30 a.m. (Bolivian Time) in a private 4x4 vehicle with an English-speaking guide.

Laguna Verde and Laguna Blanca
Salvador Dalí Desert
Polques Hot Springs
Sol de Mañana Geysers
Laguna Roja with flamingos
Overnight stay: Basic hostel in Huayllajara: shared room with 6 beds for the same 4x4 group, with shared toilets.
Meals: Lunch and Dinner.

Day 2: Huayllajara - Agencha

Begin your journey after breakfast at 7:00 a.m. with visits to:

Árbol de Piedra (Stone Tree)
Siloli Desert
Laguna Cañapa
Laguna Hedionda
Laguna Chiarcota
At the lagoons, you can observe flamingos in their natural habitat.

Next, continue along the rocky road to visit:

Mirador del Volcán de Ollague
Valley of Rocks
Overnight stay: Basic hostel in Agencha: double or shared room with 3 beds for the same 4x4 group, with private toilets in each room.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 3: Agencha - Uyuni City

Begin your journey after breakfast with visits to:

Salar de Uyuni
Isla Incahuasi (to see giant cacti and petrified coral rock formations)
A salt hotel, now used as a museum and restaurant
Flags of the World (where you can bring and place your own flag for free)
Dakar Monument
Then continue to visit:

The small settlement of Colchani (salt miners' workshops near the salt flats)
Here you can find salt-based crafts and textile art made from llama and alpaca wool, which make excellent souvenirs.
Finally, arrive in Uyuni City around 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.

Important Information
During the rainy season (from January to April), access to Isla Incahuasi may not be possible. It is also possible that we may stay in a different location due to road access

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
