An unforgettable journey begins through 12,000 km² of fantastic salt landscapes, surreal deserts and colorful lagoons of the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve.
Day 1
Uyuni to Tunupa volcano
Starting our tour, we go to the train cemetery where we can see the old steam locomotives. Continuing our trip, we visit the community of Colchani where we will find rustic workshops of local crafts made of salt. Then, we enter the Salar de Uyuni and make stops to see salt and salt eyes. We will also visit Coqueza Canton and Tunupa Volcano.
Overnight at the Tayka de Sal Hotel, an ecological hotel with private bathroom, heating and excellent service located at the foot of the majestic Tunupa Volcano.

Day 2
Tunupa Volcano to Siloli Desert
Hotel Tayka de Piedra In the morning, head to Fish Island, it is another black spot in the middle of the whiteness. It is formed on the remains of a petrified limestone volcano. It has a variety of cacti from bushes with large thorns to large cacti. Then continue towards Mala Mala Bay at the opposite end of the salt flat to head to Galaxy Cave, an extraordinary place where you can see ancient burials and petrified cacti. Arrival at the Tayka Red Stone Hotel located in San Pedro de Quemes, where you will enjoy a unique gastronomic experience with the flavors of regional food.

Laguna Hedionda Towards the south are Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarkota, Honda and Ramadita, where you can find a large number of flamingos. Other birds, such as geese and Andean gulls, accompany the flamingos in these lagoons flanked by snow-capped volcanoes that have a green skirt below. You will have a stop at the Ollague Volcano Viewpoint at 5,865 meters above sea level, one of the most active volcanoes in the Western Cordillera. From there you will see fumaroles approximately 100 meters high. You will be immersed in volcanic rocks that have particular shapes.

Siloli Desert

Enter the desert sands, where landscapes are painted in beautiful hues to reach the hotel.

Day 3
Siloli Desert to Uyuni
Sol de la Manana Geyser At dawn, you will go in search of the well-known Sol de Mañana geysers and reach the first rays of light. You will cross the Geysers, rare vapors on earth in the area, they are called the Geysers of the Morning Sun, because all their splendor appears in the morning, with the first rays of light.

Polques Hot Springs See ponds where the earth seems to boil red, gray and scarlet mud and you can walk through it.

Laguna Verde To leave this desert valley, you will visit Laguna Verde at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano.

Laguna Colorada On the way back, stop for lunch in Laguna Colorada,

Stone Tree On the route you will find the extensive lands of the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve, a desert characterized by strong winds and very interesting volcanic rock formations in their various forms such as the Stone Tree.

Uyuni Finally at approximately 6:30 p.m. you will return to Uyuni.
