Day 1
Uyuni - Train Cemetery - Refinery - Incahuasi Island - Hostal de Sal
Train Cemetery We will pick you up around 9-10 a.m. in Uyuni. Our first stop will be a few minutes after leaving at the Train Cemetery, where the old locomotives are abandoned, creating a very peculiar landscape.
Colchani Then we will go to the town of Colchani, where you can visit the salt museum and the salt refinery, where we will learn about the extraction and refining process and the local craft shops.
Uyuni Salt Flat 12:00 PM - The group will then enter the salt desert at noon, visiting the salt piles, the "eyes of the salt flat" (small holes where you can see groundwater), and the fascinating Playa Blanca museum built only with salt blocks. of the Uyuni Salt Flats.
Incahuasi Island 13:00 - The next stop will be Incahuasi Island, a place that is home to a unique environment full of giant cacti and which, thanks to its elevation, becomes one of the best viewpoints to enjoy the fascinating landscape. Be sure to take photographs from a different perspective of the Salar de Uyuni. Afterwards, we will take a short walk to have lunch on the white plains before continuing with the exciting adventure.
Uyuni We will arrive at our accommodation, the Salt Hostel, around 7:00 p.m. On the way to the lodge, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the sunset over the salt flats. Once there, we will have dinner together and spend the night.
Day 2
San Juan - Eduardo Avaroa Park - Siloli Desert - Laguna Colorada
Laguna Canapa 7:00 AM - We will start the day with an early breakfast to depart towards the famous Laguna Colorada. Later we will visit the lagoons of Cañapa, Hedionda, Hona and Ramadita, known as highland or colored lagoons.
Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve of Andean Fauna 9:00 AM - We will arrive passing through the Siloli Desert, located more than 16,404 feet (5000 meters) above sea level. We will make a stop along the way to eat.
Laguna Colorada 6:00 PM - Finally, we will arrive at Laguna Colorada. To end the day, we will arrive at our refuge near the lagoon. Then dinner will be served and we will sleep in shared dormitories (six beds) or in a private room (available when booking). Please note that the second day's accommodation is humble.
Day 3
Morning Sun - Hot Springs - Salvador Dalí Desert - Laguna Verde - Uyuni
Sol de la Manana Geyser 4:30 AM - We will get up very early to start the trip to the “Sol de la Mañana” geyser field since the activity is greater during the first hours of the day and only then will you be able to see the many active geysers , fumaroles and even a small crater with volcanic lava.
Uyuni We will begin the way back to Uyuni. We will arrive at the town of Uyuni around 7 p.m.
