5-day tour of Uyuni and Red Lagoon

Embark on a complete journey to Bolivia's natural wonders, such as deserts, geysers and hot springs. Take an overnight bus from La Paz to explore the Salar de Uyuni, the Red Lagoon and more.
DAY 1
Head to the "Todo Turismo" office at 8:30 PM for check-in; the bus will depart at 9:00 PM.
Onboard, enjoy the services of Dinner, Breakfast, Bottled Water, 1 Hot Drink, Heating, Restroom, Blanket, Wi-Fi, and First Aid Kit.

DAY 2
Arrival in Uyuni at 7:30 AM.
Free time to buy coffee, snacks, water, and more.
(We have FREE TIME because all tourist companies and attractions are available starting at 10:30 AM.)
Afterwards, head to our office at 10:00 AM.

The tour starts at 10:30 AM.
The first stop is the eerie "Train Graveyard," located on the outskirts of Uyuni.
Next, visit the small settlement of Colchani (salt miner workshops by the salt flat), where you will also find salt crafts and textile art made from llama and alpaca wool. These make excellent souvenirs to take home.

Lunch will be served around noon along the way.

Next, visit the Uyuni Salt Flat: *Salty water eyes *A salt hotel-museum, *Flags of the World (where you can bring and place your own flag for free) and a Dakar Rally Monument.

Then, take time to organize your group for fun perspective photos on the dazzling white salt flats, playing with the scene—you're sure to get some memorable and amusing photos!

First Night Stay: Agencha Hostel: Shared rooms with 3, 4, 5, and 6 beds + Shared restrooms. / No Wi-Fi

DAY 3
Departure at 6:30 AM for breakfast.
First stop: Chiguana Desert, on the southern edge of the Uyuni salt flat, surrounded by volcanoes like Ollagüe, which is still active and can be seen from the viewpoint.
Next, visit: Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiarcota Lagoons where you can see flamingos.
After lunch, enter the "Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve," visit the Siloli Desert (the highest and driest desert in the world), and take a photo with the "Rock Tree" (a lava rock formation), and the Red Lagoon to see more pink flamingos in their natural habitat.

Second Night Stay: Huayllajara Hostel, shared rooms with 6 beds + Shared restrooms / No hot water for showers (to avoid pollution in the National Reserve) / No Wi-Fi

DAY 4
Start early, around 5:00 AM, to visit the Morning Sol Geyser and walk alongside steaming fumaroles and boiling mud pots. Afterward, you will have the chance to take a bath in an outdoor hot spring at 35°C.

Next locations: Dali Desert, Green Lagoon, and White Lagoon

Then, return to Uyuni, enjoying picturesque landscapes along the way and having a picnic lunch by the roadside.

Arrival in Uyuni between 5:45 PM and 6:45 PM.
Then, head to the Bus Office on your own at 8:30 PM.
Bus departure from Uyuni to La Paz at 9:00 PM.

DAY 5
Arrival in La Paz between 6:15 AM and 6:35 AM.
End of the tour: Main Bus Station of La Paz.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
