Description

Embark on a complete journey to Bolivia's natural wonders, such as deserts, geysers and hot springs. Take an overnight bus from La Paz to explore the Salar de Uyuni, the Red Lagoon and more.
DAY 1
Head at 8:30 PM for check-in, and the bus will depart at 9:00 PM.
Onboard, enjoy the following amenities: dinner, breakfast, bottled water, 1 hot drink, heating, restroom, blanket, Wi-Fi, and a first-aid kit.

DAY 2
Arrive in Uyuni at 7:30 AM.
Free time to buy coffee, snacks, water, and more.
(We have FREE TIME because all tourist companies and sightseeing points are available from 10:30 AM onwards.)
Then, head to our office by 10:00 AM.

The tour starts at 10:30 AM.
The first stop is the eerie "Train Cemetery" on the outskirts of Uyuni.
Next, visit the small settlement of Colchani (salt miner workshops next to the salt flat), where you'll find salt crafts and textile art made from llama and alpaca wool. These make excellent souvenirs.

Lunch will be served around noon along the way.

Then, visit the Salar de Uyuni: Ojos de Agua Salada (Saltwater Eyes), a salt museum hotel, Flags of the World (where you can bring and place your own flag for free), and a Dakar Monument.

Afterward, have time to hike to the summit of Isla Incahuasi to see giant cacti and coral-petrified rock formations.

Then, take time to arrange your group for fun perspective photos on the dazzling white surface of the salt flats, playing with the scene—you’re sure to get some fun and memorable photos!

First Night Stay: Albergue Agencha: Shared rooms with 3, 4, 5, and 6 beds + Shared restrooms / No Wi-Fi

DAY 3
Departure at 6:30 AM for breakfast.
First stop: Chiguana Desert, on the southern side of the Uyuni salt flat, surrounded by volcanoes like Ollagüe, which is still active and visible from the viewpoint.
Next, visit the Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiarcota lagoons where you can see flamingos.
After lunch, enter the "Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve," visit the Siloli Desert (the highest and driest in the world), and take a photo by the "Rock Tree" (a lava rock formation), and Laguna Roja to see more pink flamingos in their natural habitat.

Second Night Stay: Albergue Huayllajara, shared rooms with 6 beds + Shared restrooms / No hot water for showers (to avoid contamination in the National Reserve) / No Wi-Fi

DAY 4
Start early, around 5:00 AM, to visit the Morning Sun Geyser and walk alongside fumaroles and steaming craters filled with boiling mud pots. Then, you'll have the opportunity to bathe in an outdoor hot spring at 35ºC.

Next, visit: Dalí Desert, Green Lagoon, and White Lagoon.

Afterwards, return to Uyuni, enjoying scenic landscapes along the way and having a picnic lunch by the roadside.

Arrive in Uyuni between 5:45 PM and 6:45 PM.
Then, head to the Bus Office on your own by 8:30 PM.
Bus departure from Uyuni to La Paz at 9:00 PM.

DAY 5
Arrive in La Paz between 6:15 AM and 6:35 AM.
End of the tour: La Paz Main Bus Station.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
