Bhutan, a land of stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage, offers visitors a unique blend of ancient traditions and breathtaking natural beauty. This tour takes you from the vibrant capital of Thimphu to the serene valleys of Punakha and Paro, showcasing the best of Bhutanese architecture, art, and spirituality.
Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Thimphu
Upon arrival at Paro airport, our representative will transfer you to Thimphu. En route, visit the historic Iron Bridge, built in the 14th century by the Tibetan engineer Thangthong Gyalbo. In Thimphu, marvel at the newly built Buddha statue, one of the largest sitting Buddhas in the world, overlooking the valley. Explore Simply Bhutan, an interactive museum where you can experience traditional Bhutanese life, including dressing in traditional clothes and learning about local customs. Later, visit the Authentic Craft Bazaar and the impressive Tashichhodzong fortress. Thimphu, the capital city, is known for its spectacular scenery and rich culture, and it's the only city in the world without traffic signals.
Day 2: Thimphu – Punakha
After breakfast, drive to Punakha, enjoying beautiful landscapes along the way. Stop at Dochula Pass (3100m), where you can see some of Bhutan's highest peaks and explore the 108 stupas. In Punakha, visit Chimi Lhakhang, the Temple of Fertility, known for its unique religious art. After lunch, explore Punakha Dzong, considered the most beautiful fortress in Bhutan, and walk across the 250m-long Punakha Suspension Bridge, the longest in the country. Enjoy the evening at your leisure in Punakha.
Day 3: Punakha – Paro
Start early and drive back to Paro. Visit the National Museum, which houses a collection of natural history and religious paintings. Explore the 17th-century Paro Dzong (Fortress) and walk through the oldest wooden bridge still in use. Visit Kitchu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in Bhutan, built in the 7th century. In the evening, stroll through old Paro town, exploring local handicraft stores and trying traditional Bhutanese attire. End the day with a visit to the viewpoint of Paro International Airport, a great spot to see airplanes taking off and landing.
Day 4: Paro (Tiger’s Nest Temple Hike)
Drive to the base camp of the Tiger's Nest temple complex and hike to this revered site, which clings to a granite cliff overlooking Paro valley. After the hike, enjoy a traditional hot stone bath, a popular Bhutanese therapy for body pains. Spend the evening exploring Paro town.
Day 5: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Our tour staff will bid you farewell, marking the end of a memorable journey through Bhutan.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
