Start your tour at the Baku Boulevard, a promenade established in 1909 which runs parallel to Baku's seafront. Learn about its history, which goes back more than 100 years, to a time when Baku oil barons built their mansions along the Caspian shore and when the seafront was artificially built up inch by inch.

Visit the "Little Venice" in Baku Boulevard, a small town built in 1960. See how it was expanded up to 10,000 sq.m. in 2012. The town has two large and several small islands, which are connected by decorative stone bridges. Watch gondolas travel in the channels full of still and clean water.

In the 1950s and 1960s, the Mirvari (Pearl) cafe, the Little Venice water park, the Bahar (Spring) cinema, and other entertainments were built in Baku Boulevard.

Then, head to the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum. Learn about the museum's history, which was established in accordance with the decree No. 130 of the Council of Ministers of the Azerbaijan SSR dated March 13, 1967. From 1967 to 1993, the museum was called the Azerbaijan State Museum of Carpet and Folk Applied Arts, from 1993 to 2014 – State Museum of Carpet and Applied Arts named after Latif Karimov, from 2014 to 2019 – Azerbaijan Carpet Museum, and from 2019 to the present – Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum.
