On this spooky and sinister tour of Salzburg, you will learn about the jobs of executioners and torturers and get to know the city’s medieval and modern methods of torture.
The main focus of this guided tour will be the Salzburg witch trials and the Zauberer Jackl trials, as well as the role of the Catholic Church at the time. Dip into the history of superstition, legends, and sayings – and visit original sites such as the pillories, the torture chambers, and the place of execution.
With its mix of dark and humorous tales, this tour is appropriate for children ages 10 and up. It lasts about 1.5 hours.

Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
