Learn to dive and become a qualified PADI Diver. Learn theory in a 5-star training facility and then travel by superyacht to the Outer Great Barrier Reef.
Become a certified diver with this 4-day open water course with qualified and friendly instructors at a five-star training facility in Cairns. Complete your training onboard a superyacht at the Great Barrier Reef.
Over days 1 and 2, you will learn dive theory with classroom lessons and practice basic scuba diving skills, safety drills, and correct ascending and descending techniques during training sessions in a swimming pool.
On days 3 and 4, you will enjoy two full-day cruises on a superyacht to two Outer Reef Sites where you will practice your diving. Complete a total of four dives plus one free fun dive! Enjoy a chef-prepared lunch onboard which is included on days 3 and 4. Classes are limited to 8 participants for a more personalised experience with your instructor.
Once complete, you will be an internationally recognised certified PADI scuba diver.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Before diving, all divers must complete a Dive Course Medical Questionnaire. In our commitment to the safety of our guests, divers over 45 years for PADI dive courses must have medical clearance from a physician who confirms you are Fit To Dive.
Please be aware that certain medical conditions (e.g. asthma, heart disease, diabetes), a high BMI and/or prescription medication may prevent some people from diving. Please contact the Tour Operator before your course date to check (07) 40528300.
Upon completion you will receive your PADI Open Water Dive Certificate allows you to scuba dive up to a depth of 60 feet (18 meters), join certified dive tours, rent diving equipment, and take part in advanced PADI diving courses.
Lunch is included on days 3 and 4 only, please bring your own lunch on day 1 and 2.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
