Description
Visit hidden gardens, underground churches, panoramic view of the biggest open-air market of Africa and experience a unique local food preparation and tasting with locals.
We start our tour with a visit of Saint Bahita Mousoleum Church. An underground Church filled with the history of the Emperor, who founded Addis Ababa, and an original painting of Michelangelo. Afterwards we visit our ancestor Lucy at the National Museum and go to Merkato market, experiencing an amazing top view of the vivid life of the merchants. We take our lunch at Zoma museum, enjoying the amazing garden with its fresh and silence in the middle of the town. Here we also take part in a cooking event of traditional Ethiopian food that we will taste afterwards. This unique experience of flavours and scents is completed by a traditional coffee ceremony.
After this we will proceed to mount Entoto, where we will learn more about the history of Ethiopia's capital and enjoy later a beautiful sunset over the skyline of Addis Ababa.
