Description
During the tour, we will visit the Akhtala monastery. This unique 10th-century complex, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, stands out for its unique architectural style.
Then we will go to see the 122-year-old house of the famous Tiflis-Armenian philanthropist Mikael Aramyants. Our next stop will be Haghpat monastery, a masterpiece of medieval Armenian architecture, decorated with intricate carvings and Armenian khachkars. During the tour, we will also visit the Sanahin monastery, which stands out for the harmony of its religious and educational buildings. In the end we will see “Mendz Er” cave, from where opens a breathtaking view of Lori gorge.
P.S. The price does not include the entrance fee of “Mendz Er” – 1000 AMD,
Entrance fee to Aramyan Castle is 1000 AMD (for foreigners – 1500 AMD, for visitors aged 7-16 – 500 AMD).
