Start your adventure with a pick-up from your hotel in Yerevan. After a short meet and greet with your driver you will head to the Province of Vayots Dzor, a place considered to be the ancient cradle of wine-making. As you arrive in the wine-village, Areni, you will take a stroll in the vineyards where you will have a delicious traditional breakfast paired with good local wine. Later, take a walk towards your cozy guesthouse, where the local guide, will share with you the secrets of pure honey and wine-making. After lunch, immerse yourself in the daily routine of Areni and take a walk around the hospitable village. In the evening you will have delicious Armenian specialties around the campfire.
After your relaxing overnight stay in the guesthouse, you will be greeted at the start of your day. Today you will drive to the village of Amaghu, from here you will start trekking to the architectural masterpiece Noravank Monastery, which is perched on the rocky outcrop. The everlasting impression of the stunning panorama is guaranteed here. Later, you will head to Areni Cave, where a 6000-year old shoe has been revealed together with wine vessels and other accessories which testify that Armenia is an ancient and authentic center of wine-making. After lunch, on your way to Yerevan, you will stop at the sacred Monastery Khor Virap, from here the flawless view of the Biblical Mount Ararat will be a real gift to your eyes. Finish your amazing experience with a transfer back to your accommodation in Yerevan.
