Country: Germany

Duration: 02:00 hours

Description

After instruction from a BCU (British Canoe Union) qualified guide, the tour leads from the historic inner city edge on the quiet and beautiful section of the Schwinge. No experience necessary.
Paddling at the Stade Old Town means experiencing the brick-red Hanseatic city from a completely different perspective.

The steersman/woman takes the steering himself while those in the canoe in front are the eyes. They make sure that the canoe doesn't go under the low-lying branches.

The canoe-catamaran tour explores Burggraben in Stade. Single canoes may go to the Schwingetal, to the protected landscape area “Schwinge and Nebentäler” with the surrounding grassland areas and moorland forest areas.
