Description
Visit Osum Canyon the largest in the country, referred to as the 'Grand Canyon' of Albania. Pass by big rocks, birds of various species, old bridges, and trees, as you discover popular legends about the area. Swim in the river and cool off after the hike.
Meet at 9 AM and begin your drive in the direction of the canyon. During the drive, admire the beautiful landscape of Osumi Valley. After 30-minutes, stop in a city called Polican which was famous during the communist era for producing millions of guns. Discover how the guns factories now lie abandoned as a reminder of the past.
After a 1.5-hour drive, arrive at the canyon and begin the hike. Admire the beautiful scenery and look out for local wildlife. At the end of the hike, enjoy a swim in the river to freshen up at the end of the walk. Transfer back to Berat at the end of the tour.
