Start your journey from the city that lies on the shore of the Adriatic Sea, Durres. From sea to History, this tour of Kruja will leave you breathless.
Kruja, hometown of our national hero Gjergj Kastrioti known as Skanderbeg has a lot of history to offer. In Kruja we will visit the old Castle and go inside the museum of Skanderbeg where you will learn more about the history of Albania and Kruja itself. After that you will have free time to wander around the Old Bazaar of Kruja with beautiful cobblestone alleys and lovely old architecture.
After lunch we will continue our journey to Durres, a city that is a mixture of modern and ancient features. During our visit in Durres, we will walk along the ancient City Walls build since 1st century AD, visit the Roman Thermal Baths and go around the Byzantine Forum. Also we will go inside the biggest amphitheater in the Balkan and see the ancient ruins.
Return in Tirana during late afternoon.
