Tirana, the vibrant capital city hosts c.1/3 of the total of Albania population. Therefore, it has inevitably gone through many changes in lifestyle and urban living. It is the place where tradition meets the modern, from the skyscrapers to old museums and squares. Our trip to Tirana is designed for you to feel the transformation of a country which has been closed to the world under the communism era till the `90s, and is now boosting its cultural, economic and political environment.
You will be accompanied by a professional guide who you will meet upon arrival in Tirana, to start exploring the city.
After that you will enjoy a visit in Bunk`Art Museum, an original bunker of the communism era, transformed into a museum to give a feeling of what life used to be under regime.
Afterwards you will have a couple of hours of free time to enjoy the vibe of the city and have lunch and drinks or do some shopping. We will provide a list with best spots in the city and recommendations.
Head back to Durres in the late afternoon.
