Description
Let's visit the amazing new set of locks at the canal while driving through the jungle to visit the fort of San Lorenzo, a UNESCO World Heritage site located on the Caribbean side of Panama.
This tour captures Aguas Clara's New set of locks located on the Caribbean side of the canal and built in 2016 as a part of the so-called Panama Canal expansion to welcome the giant ships(new Panamax) through the Panama Canal.
We will stop by the visitor center so you can appreciate the transit of these mega-ships on their way to the Pacific or the Atlantic Ocean.
Then, we will go through San Lorenzo Park, a rainforest full of flora and fauna, Sherman's former military base, until we reach the San Lorenzo fort.
