1. Qing Dynasty Clothing and Makeup Features
1.1 Qing Dynasty clothing :Emphasized elegance and dignity. Women often wore loose-fitting qizhuang (Manchu-style dress), while noblemen donned dragon robes embroidered with dragon patterns, symbolizing their status. The sleeves typically had wide, folded cuffs known as “horse-hoof” sleeves, which were both stylish and practical. Clothing was adorned with auspicious embroidery patterns such as flowers and clouds. Women's headpieces were intricately crafted and lavish, featuring ornamental hairpins, floral hairpieces, and jewelry, showcasing the luxurious tastes of the nobility.
1.2 Qing Dynasty makeup:Was refined and understated, favoring an elegant and detailed style. Eyebrows were curved and slender, with eye makeup kept simple and subtle to create a gentle, serene look. The base makeup was white and translucent, giving a fresh and pure appearance, while lips were often painted in delicate shades of red or light pink with a small, refined shape. The overall look was graceful and poised, capturing the beauty of classical Chinese aesthetics.
