Are you fond of beautiful hikes and want to discover one of the most beautiful parts of Armenia in one day? Why not to head to the Dilijan National Park, where you will have the opportunity to explore lakes, forests, monasteries, and mountains.
Your guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel, from where you will be taken to the Dilijan National Park, a town of forested mountains full of natural wonders. On the way, you can admire Lake Sevan and stop at the famous Sevanavank Monastery to enjoy the beautiful panorama.
Next, you will go to the town of Dilijan to start your trek from Lake Parz, which is nestled in the heart of the forest and is known for its relaxing surrounding nature. You will walk through the mountains, pass over the forest, and enjoy exciting views of the neighboring mountain ranges before gradually descending to the magnificent Goshavank Monastery, home of Mkhitar Gosh, the father of Armenian law.
Following your stop at the monastery, you will continue your trekking by passing on the opposite side to reach Lake Gosh, the second lake of your day. You will go down to Gosh to finish your hike. On the way back, your vehicle will stop at Dilijan for you to admire the traditional architecture of the town, which combines stone buildings and wooden balconies. After a day full of memories, you will later be dropped off at your hotel in Yerevan.
