The cellars have a magical flair and are filled with countless bottles of wine. Discover the traditional method of sparkling winemaking in the unique ambiance of Austria’s oldest and biggest sparkling wine cellar. Immerse yourself into the world of sparkling wine and experience a fascinating journey from the grape to the glass.
The 60-minute audio tour of the Schlumberger Wine Cellar provides information on the origin of sparkling wine and champagne making and explains how the sparkle is born inside the bottle. Try to “hand-riddle” the bottles on the wooden sloping racks and unravel the secret behind disgorging and dosage. Discover the cellar and the history of Schlumberger which dates back to 1842.
After the tour, you have the opportunity to enjoy one of the three tasting sets of either sparkling wines, rosé wines, or a mix. Also, have the chance to take home a bottle or two of the famous Schlumberger sparkling wine.

You are required to bring and wear a mask
All participants over 12 years old must present one of the following: proof of full vaccination, proof of first vaccination administered at least 22 days ago, proof of a Covid-19 infection in the past 6 months, or a negative PCR test taken no more than 48 hours before the activity starts
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
